Street Workshop Terms and Conditions
1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION
1.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, being subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales In this Agreement.
1.2 “We” “us” and “our” means Ascough Photography Ltd
1.3 “Workshop” refers to the Street workshop as described on our website
1.4 “Delegate” “you” and “your” means the person attending the Workshop
1.5 Clauses and headings in this Agreement do not form part of this Agreement and shall not be taken into account to assist in its interpretation.
1.6 Words in the singular include the plural and in the plural include the singular.
1.7 A reference to one gender includes a reference to the other gender.
2. CONFIDENTIALITY AND DUTY OF CARE
2.2 We shall not divulge to any person, company and/or entity, confidential information concerning any of our delegates.
3. BOOKING & CANCELLATION
3.1 A booking is made when the booking fee is paid in full.
3.2 If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing.
3.3 If you cancel your booking more than 90 days from the Workshop we will refund your booking fee less an administration charge of £50.
3.4 If you cancel your booking within 60 days of the workshop we will retain 50% of the booking fee. However, you may transfer your booking to another party subject to agreement.
3.5 If you cancel your booking within 14 days of the Workshop, the booking fee is non-refundable. However, you may transfer your booking to another party subject to agreement.
3.6 In the unlikely event of us cancelling or rescheduling the Workshop, we will offer a refund of all monies paid.
3.7 In the unlikely event of us cancelling or rescheduling the Workshop, we will not be held liable for any costs that have been accrued by you in relation to travelling to and attending the Workshop.
4.1 Since 2020, the UK and devolved governments have implemented a number of restrictions on movement, gatherings and events. These are under periodic review. At this time, we reasonably expect to be able to run the Workshop.
4.1 In the event that the UK or devolved government’s legally enforceable restrictions prevent us from holding the Workshop, we will provide a refund of all monies paid.

6. REFRESHMENTS AND FOOD
6.1 Food and refreshments are not included in the price of the workshop and we are not responsible for supplying them.
6.2 There will be a break of one hour during the workshop for lunch.
7.1 Delegates are responsible for their own equipment insurance and for the security of their equipment while attending the Workshop.
7.2 We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your equipment while attending the Workshop.
8. TIMING & LOCATIONS
8.1 Each Workshop day will start at 11.00 and finish at 18.00 with an hour for lunch.
8.2 Shooting locations will be decided by us for all group tuition.
8.3 The initial meet-up location will be confirmed with you before the day.
8.4 Any changes to the meet-up location will be sent to you no later than 24 hours prior to the Workshop. 8.5 We reserve the right to change the schedule of the Workshop.
9.1 Filming or audio recording of Jeff Ascough and Sarah G Ascough during the workshop is not permitted without prior agreement.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1 While we will make every reasonable effort to produce and deliver professional tuition during the Workshop, we will not be held liable for lack of tuition due to the behaviour of delegates, or circumstances beyond our control.
10.2 We reserve the right to immediately ask delegates to leave the Workshop without liability if we are subjected to verbal and physical abuse, sexual harassment, or lewd and suggestive comments made by delegates.
